Describing Images Resources
NCAM ( National Center for Accessible Media) at WGBH publishes several resources for making media accessible.
WebAIM – WebAIM has provided comprehensive web accessibility solutions since 1999. These years of experience have made WebAIM one of the leading providers of web accessibility expertise internationally
NIMAS Resources The U.S. Department of Education has endorsed the NIMAS as the preferred approach for publishers to provide accessible instructional materials to students in grades K–12. It will take some time, however, for publishers to provide those electronic source files via established distribution channels. In the meantime, we hope that the resources presented on the NIMAS site will be useful to groups such as state representatives, publishers, content developers, educators, developers of playback and production technology, and consumers.
